Martina Matencio (nacida en Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona) es una fotógrafa española cuyo trabajo se caracteriza por una mezcla de melancolía, luz natural y la celebración del cuerpo femenino en todas sus formas.

Desde los 16 años comenzó a experimentar con la fotografía, y a los 20 años ya había convertido la fotografía en su modo de vida. Estudió fotografía artística en la escuela Escola Superior d’Art i Disseny Serra i Abella en Barcelona, especializándose en el uso de luz natural y la representación del cuerpo femenino. IGNANT+1 Su obra aboga por la idea de que la belleza femenina existe en todos los cuerpos, no por su fisonomía, sino por la emoción que emana de ellos.

Ha trabajado internacionalmente en ciudades como Los Ángeles, Londres y en Japón, y para marcas y publicaciones como Armani, Vogue, Netflix o Lula Japan.

En 2017 publicó su primer libro, Tus ojos, mis manos (junto con la actriz Alba Ribas). En 2021 apareció otro libro suyo, Martina, tengo que hablar contigo, editado por Lunwerg.

She started playing with photography at age 16 and by 20 it had become her way of life. She studied artistic photography at the Escola Serra i Abella in Barcelona, focusing on natural light and the representation of the female body.

Martina firmly believes that feminine beauty exists in all bodies—not because of their shape, but because of the emotion that emanates from them. Her photographs reflect this philosophy through lights and shadows, delicacy and strength.

Internationally, she has worked in cities such as Los Angeles, London and Japan, and for brands such as Netflix, Armani and Vogue.
