Javier Royo Espallargas, conocido artísticamente como Javirroyo (Zaragoza, 1972), es un influyente diseñador gráfico, ilustrador, historietista y humorista gráfico español cuya obra se distingue por la crítica social con humor y un estilo gráfico sintético. Inició su carrera en fanzines y, en 1994, dio vida a su personaje insignia, "La Cebolla Asesina". A lo largo de su trayectoria, ha colaborado con prestigiosos medios como El País, Público e Interviú, además de ser el fundador y editor del diario satírico El Estafador.

Su estilo, que aborda temas sociales y de actualidad con un enfoque reflexivo y un trazo sencillo pero contundente, se plasma en libros sobre feminismo y nuevas masculinidades como Homo Machus, así como en obras que diseccionan el mundo laboral, como Laborachismo. Es autor de otros títulos como Dibujo, luego pienso, sobre creatividad y design thinking, y ha colaborado en libros de cocina con chefs reconocidos.

Más allá de las publicaciones, Javirroyo es el director creativo de Chispum Studio y ha trabajado para clientes internacionales de la talla de Ikea, HBO, Amazon Prime y Oxfam. Su compromiso con la igualdad y su prolífica carrera le han valido reconocimientos como el Premio Gràffica 2020 y el Premio Hombre Progresista 2023, otorgado por la Federación de Mujeres Progresistas de España, además de ser embajador de la Unesco de Positively Men.
